The Weekly Word: Is Your Heart Ready (Ep.73)

This week’s Weekly Word comes from Matthew 24:36–51, where Jesus speaks about His return. He reminds us that no one knows the day or the hour—not even the angels in heaven, only the Father. Because of this, Jesus calls us to live watchfully, faithfully, and ready at all times.

In this passage, He compares His coming to the days of Noah, when people carried on with life as usual, unaware of what was about to happen. The message is clear: we can’t afford to be spiritually careless. Instead, we’re called to be like the faithful servant—alert, diligent, and living each day as if Jesus could return at any moment.

This isn’t meant to create fear but to inspire faithfulness. When Christ comes, may He find us serving, loving, and living for Him wholeheartedly. Let’s not get distracted or complacent, but stay ready, knowing our Lord’s return is certain—even if the timing is not.
