Getting to Know You:
  1. Describe a time you accomplished something that you thought was impossible? To what or whom did you credit your success?

Digging Deeper:
  1. Read Acts 2:14-21, Hebrews 1:1-2, 2 Peter 3:1-4. According to these passages what characterizes the last days? Can you find examples that prove we are currently in the last days? What are some of the manifestations of the Spirit mentioned above? Read Isaiah 34:1-4, Joel 2:28-32, Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 6:12-17. According to these verses what is the Day of the Lord, why is it coming, and when will it come?
  2. Read Acts 2:22-35, Hebrews 7:11-25, Psalm 16:8-11 and Psalm 110:1-7. How was Jesus the fulfillment of these prophecies? Why is it important to study fulfilled prophecies? What purpose do fulfilled prophecies play in evangelism?
  3. Read Acts 2:36-41, Acts 8:34-38, Acts 10:44-48 and Acts 16:30-33. What was the first thing the believers were commanded to do after they believed? Why is baptism so important? What do you think are the spiritual ramifications if we wait a long time or do not get baptized?

Taking it Home:
  1. Notice the mockery of the people towards the gospel being shared by the Apostles. Have comments of people caused you to shy away from sharing the gospel? Discuss opportunities you can take advantage of this week to share the Gospel and consider a biblical response when encountering negative responses.
