Getting to Know You:
  1. Who has had the greatest impact on your life and why?

Digging Deeper:
  1. Read Acts 18:1-4, Acts 18:18-28, Romans 16:3-5, 1 Corinthians 3:5-6, and 1 Corinthians 16:19. What different ways did Priscilla and Aquila serve Paul, Apollos and the church body? As a result of their life and ministry, what impact did their lives have on Corinth?
  2. Read about Jesus before his arrest in Matthew 26:36-45 and Paul’s last recorded words before his death in 2 Timothy 4:1-22. How much support did Paul and Christ have through their trials? What are some reasons people didn’t support them and why don’t people persevere to the end? How did Priscilla and Aquila do? What can believers do to make sure they endure to the end?
  3. Read Judges 4:4-10 and review Acts 18:18, 18:26 and Romans 16:3. Pastor Walter mentioned that numerous times Priscilla’s name appeared before Aquila which might signify, she was a more dominant personality or played a greater role in ministry as was in the case with Judge Deborah. Does this conflict with the principle that the man is to be the spiritual leader in the home? Additionally, how can a wife who is more gifted spiritually or stronger in her faith still minister under her spouse’s leadership?
