DESCRIPTION:

As Paul closes his letter to the Colossians, he gives believers a strategy for advancing the Kingdom of God. Christians are living in the middle of a spiritual battle, but we do not fight for victory—we fight from the victory Christ has already secured. In Colossians 4:2–18, Paul calls followers of Jesus to pray persistently, walk wisely, speak graciously, and faithfully fulfill the ministry God has given them. Kingdom Come challenges us to stop living like distracted soldiers and instead live intentionally for our King, trusting the power of God’s Word and looking for opportunities to make Christ known wherever God has placed us.
