Episode 44 - Trading The Eternal For The Temporary

In Genesis 25, Esau gave up his birthright—his inheritance and blessing—for a bowl of stew. He was hungry and focused on what he wanted in the moment, not on what truly mattered. We do the same thing more often than we realize. We trade time with God for scrolling on our phones, His truth for the world’s approval, and lasting joy for temporary satisfaction. We settle for less when God has so much more for us. This devotional is a reminder to step back and think about what we’re choosing. Are we chasing what’s easy and temporary, or are we holding onto what lasts forever?
