LIFE GROUP QUESTIONS

Acts 3:11-21

Getting to know you:
  1. Share about a time when you were directly talking with someone.  How did it go?

Digging Deeper:
  1. Read Acts 3:1, Acts 16:25-30, Acts 3:12, 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 and 1 Peter 2:11-12.  According to these passages, what common behaviors characterize a godly witness?  What evidence from our lives and manifestations of the Spirit are catalysts in bringing the lost to Christ?  What kind of life do we need to live to experience God’s power?
  2. Read Acts 2:22-24, 3:14-15, Romans 1:2-5 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.  According to these verses, what is at the core of the gospel?  How would you share the gospel with someone who has never heard it?
  3. Read Acts 3:15-26, Acts 2:23, 37-38, Acts 7:51-60 and Acts 4:13.  What can we learn from Peter’s evangelism method?  Why were the disciples so direct?  Why did the people respond differently to Peter’s vs. Steven’s directness?  What are the implications for us today?
Taking it Home:
  1. What evidence helped to bring you to Christ?  How might you use that evidence to share with a lost friend?
