Study Guide

Run Your Race –
Paul admits he has not arrived, but he keeps pressing forward because Christ has already made him His own. The Christian life is not about pretending to be perfect; it is about pursuing Jesus with focus, discipline, and endurance. Believers are called to forget what lies behind, strain forward, and run toward the prize of Christ Himself.
Something to think about: What part of your past do you need to stop letting define you?

Mark of Maturity –
Spiritual maturity means recognizing that we are still growing while choosing to hold true to what we have already received in Christ. Mature believers keep moving forward, stay grounded in truth, and refuse to drift with the world.
Something to think about: Where do you need to “hold the line” in your walk with Jesus?

Follow the Faithful –
Paul calls believers to imitate those who are faithfully following Christ. The right examples matter because not everyone is running toward Jesus. Some live for earthly things, but believers are called to follow people whose lives point clearly to Christ.
Something to think about: Who are you watching and learning from spiritually?

Reward of the Righteous –
Our citizenship is in heaven, and we are waiting for Jesus, who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body. This world is not our final home, so we live with hope, readiness, and loyalty to our King.
Something to think about: Are you living more like a citizen of heaven or a citizen of this world?
