Study Guide
1. Mind Your Testimony (Ephesians 4:1–3) –
Paul urges believers to walk in a manner worthy of their calling. Our lifestyle should reflect the salvation we’ve received. A worthy walk includes humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another in love, and eagerly maintaining unity. Truth must move from information to transformation.
Something to think about:
Does your daily conduct support your confession of faith?
2. Strive to Maintain Unity (Ephesians 4:4–6) –
Paul reminds us that we are united by seven unshakable spiritual realities: one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. Unity is rooted in truth, not preference. We must not allow secondary issues to divide what Christ has made one.
Something to think about:
Are you actively protecting unity in your church relationships?
3. Be Faithful in Ministry (Ephesians 4:7–12) –
Christ gives grace and spiritual gifts to every believer. Church leadership exists to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Christianity is not a spectator sport—every believer has a role to play in building up the Body of Christ.
Something to think about:
What step can you take this week to move from attending church to actively serving?
4. Press On to Maturity (Ephesians 4:13–16) –
God’s goal is maturity—growing up into Christ. We are not meant to remain spiritual children tossed by every teaching. Maturity means discernment, truth spoken in love, and each part doing its work, so the whole body grows stronger.
Something to think about:
What is one area where you need to grow spiritually?
