Study Guide

Separated from Christ (Ephesians 2:11–12) – Before Jesus, Gentiles were alienated from God’s promises and people.
Something to think about: How often do we forget how lost we were before knowing Christ? How can that shape the way we view others who are far from God?

Reconciled Through Christ (Ephesians 2:13–18) – Jesus broke down the wall between Jews and Gentiles through His death, bringing peace and access to God for all.
Something to think about: What walls—relational, racial, or cultural—might Jesus be calling you to break down in your life or church?

One New Man in Christ (Ephesians 2:14–18) – In Christ, the hostility is removed and we become a new, united people.
Something to think about: How does your life reflect the reality of being part of one united family in Christ?

Built Together as a Dwelling (Ephesians 2:19–22) – We are fellow citizens and members of God’s household, being built together into a temple for His presence.
Something to think about: How are you contributing to the unity and strength of your local church body?
