Digging Deeper:
- Read 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Colossians 4:5-6, 1 Peter 3:15, and Jude 1:21-22. Why is it important for a believer to study apologetics? What is so significant about having a faith that is backed by evidence? What are the implications if we don’t know how to defend our faith?
- Read Psalms 22:1-18, Isaiah 52:13-53:12, Acts 4:13, and 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. What are some different “pillars” or “lines of evidence” we can use in defending our faith? How would you personally defend your faith?
- Read Matthew 7:7-8, Matthew 22:1-14, John 6:44, Acts 16:14-15, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and Hebrews 3:7-8. Why is reasoning with people not enough? What happens spiritually in the process of an unbeliever coming to Christ? Based on your study, how can we effectively bring the lost to Christ?
