  1. Share about a time when you boldly stood up for someone or something you believed in, even when others did not? How did you feel?

Digging Deeper
  1. Read Act 26:1-29, Galatians 1:13-14, and 1 Timothy 1:12-16. Why does Paul use his testimony in presenting the Gospel? How did his openness about his former life illustrate the transformative power of the cross? How can we use our past mistakes to ‘preach’ to the lost?
  2. Read Luke 24:25-27, 44-46, Acts 17:2-3, Acts 26:22-27, Romans 1:1-4, and 2 Peter 1:20-21. According to Acts 26:2-3, how did knowing his audience help him as he presented his defense? Why does Paul emphasize the fulfillment of prophecy in his defense? How does connecting prophecy with Jesus help to strengthen our faith and aid us in evangelism? What is the importance of memorizing Scripture as we evangelize?
  3. Read Matthew 19:16-22, Luke 14:15-33, Acts 26:24-29, and Hebrews 4:7. Why do you think Festus and Agrippa rejected the message? Why do some people come close to faith but stop short? How does Paul’s boldness before King Agrippa challenge us? How does prayer play a crucial role in evangelism?
